We LOVE Hayden! The medium-warm, natural tones works perfect with the wood ceilings that were already in our home and ties the interior design together. It’s the best thing waking up in the morning now: a cup of coffee, the view of Mount Hood, and the feel of these awesome wood floors under foot.
While renovating our 1961 townhouse, we were planning on using the same flooring everywhere. We wanted to renovate with a midcentury bungalow spirit, as we are located close to the beach. After browsing tens (if not hundreds) of options, Allwood Champagne 9 inch really stood out. It transformed our home by making it much lighter while keeping a warm feel. We also opted for the stair noses, as we have two levels in the house, and they look amazing.
Mid-Century Modern as a style is defined by its sharp angles and clean lines and nothing is quite as clean as our Champagne, without exception our most popular color.
Centerfield Studio in Portland, Oregon chose Champagne for the floors and stairs of this wonderful example of a mid-century modern home. And thanks also to Spin Photography for the outstanding photos, that perfectly capture the color and feel of both the architecture and the flooring.
This last Summer of 2019 Allwood was honored to be chosen by a local developer for a Street of Dreams project here in the Portland, Oregon area. And boy-oh-boy, did it turn out dreamy!
