Street of Dreams

This last Summer of 2019 Allwood was honored to be chosen by a local developer for a Street of Dreams project here in the Portland, Oregon area. And boy-oh-boy, did it turn out dreamy!

For the unaware, Street of Dreams is an annual exhibition produced by the Home Builders Association of Metro Portland. Each Summer, going back to 1975, a select group of residential developers from the area participate, each building a home to show off their exceptional skills and introduce some outstanding products. The homes are staged, and the result is a showcase of homes that are truly amazing. The public is invited to tour the homes to experience the craftsmanship; to get ideas for their own home projects, or, if the spirit moves them (and their bank account permits), even buy the house of their dreams.

Our own Fumé was the highlight of this spectacular home—its smokey, light natural gray providing the perfect canvas on which the rest of the home is displayed.
